At the Sachse Muslim Society, we are honored that you are considering us to be part of this special and meaningful step in your life. We sincerely thank you for trusting us to facilitate your Nikah and support you in fulfilling this blessed Sunnah.
Procedure and Requirements for Marriage Services
- Complete the Nikah Application Form
The Nikah Application form must be completed in full and submitted for processing at least 1 month in advance. - Schedule an Optional Appointment
Once the application form along with payment is submitted then you will get a chance to meet with Imam. If you would like to schedule a meeting, please email to nikah@sachsemasjid.org to book a meeting with the Imam to discuss your marriage plans and bring required documents to get it reviewed. - Obtain a Valid Legal Marriage License (30 Days in Advance)
A valid marriage license must be obtained from the Collin County Clerk’s Office (or the County Clerk of your city of residence). - Submit All Required Documents at Least One Week in Advance
The following documents must be submitted via email at nikah@sachsemasjid.org no later than one week before the ceremony:
- Completed Nikah application
- Valid civil marriage license
- Photo IDs of the bride and groom
- Photo ID of the wali (guardian)
Service Fees
- $400 paid with the online application
Policies & Guidelines
- Only table decorations are allowed. No flower curtains.
- Post ceremony pictures and gathering allowed only for 30 minutes
- Any and all kinds of music is prohibited in the musalla and Masjid premises
- Guests MUST respect the sanctity of the musalla, and observe silence during the adhan and prayer times
- Guests MUST wear modest attire as per Islamic principles
- Men & women will sit separately with a divider in between
- Pre-packaged desserts & snacks can be distributed for guests to take with them
- Food and drinks are prohibited inside the musallah
Banquet Hall Booking
The SMS Banquet Hall is available for event bookings but must be reserved separately and is subject to an additional fee.
